• With the magnetic field in the ON position, the base has a powerful magnetic grip across the bottom, both sides, and in the V step across the top for attaching to rounds.
• 75lbs pull on a clean, flat steel surface.
• Note the fine PRECISION adjustment for “zeroing in” indicators, which is highly important for pinpoint adjustments. The precision adjustment mechanism is so incorporated that it does not detract from the overall solid construction of the central pillar to the base.
• The unit comes complete with all the necessary attachments to accommodate practically every type of Indicator, from small test sets to larger dial Indicators with the 1/4″ lug back.
• 1/4″ lug-back indicators mount securely in the specially constructed yoke in the front swivel adaptor, which provides great flexibility in positioning the Indicator where desired.
• Small test Indicators are attached to a 1/4″ rod in the central pillar swivel adaptor. (Merely remove the front swivel adaptor with the yoke.
• The base is precision ground on all surfaces.
• Use as a surface gauge for layout and inspection with magnetic power OFF.
